Now use PayPal to buy apps from the Google Play Store

Now feel free to purchase apps from the google store as Google is expanding the payment options for the Google Play Store on Android devices. In addition to a credit or debit card, billing to a carrier, or using a gift card, users can now purchase apps, books, songs, TV shows, and movies from the Google Play Store with a PayPal account. In-app purchases can also be bought with the online payments provider.

Users will be able to add their PayPal credentials to their Google Wallet accounts when they go to purchase an app. But for now, the option is available in 12 countries, including the US, Germany, and Canada. Google is also expanding its carrier billing service to seven more countries, making it available in a total of 24 around the world. Google Play gift cards are now available in 13 countries, including Japan and Germany


The addition of payment through PayPal will be very helpful and easier to those who have already set up their bank accounts through the service or have PayPal credit to use those funds to buy apps, which in turn makes it easier for Google to sell more apps. Google did not say when PayPal billing will be available beyond the initial 12 countries, but it's likely the company will expand it as soon as it can.
