How to flash Samsung Galaxy Y (GT-s5360)?


Samsung Galaxy Y is an average budget phone from Samsung. It is one of the most user friendlier Android devices that has been developed by Samsung. Most of us protect our device by the means of PIN codes,passwords and the most common locking method in the device which is "pattern locking". Sometimes it does happen to us that we forget the password or the pattern. In such case, if we draw the pattern incorrectly for 15 times,our device will be locked permanently. However the device has an extra feature to overcome this verifying our g-mail account to unlock the device but it might not work. But we have one simple method to unlock the device which is given below.

Step 1: First switch off your device.

Step 2:After that,you have to  press 3 buttons for a long time

first press the "volume up" button, then second press "home" then at last press power button of your device until your Samsung logo appears.

Note: Hold all three buttons at a time.

Now a screen will appear like this




It is "Recovery mode". Use volume up and volume down to scroll up and scroll down respectively. Press Home button to select.

Step 3: Now you have to select the third option wipe data/factory reset,

Now you have to skip all the "No" options and select "Yes" option, then wait for few seconds..

Step 4: Now your device memory has been formatted.

That's it!. Now your device has been flashed successfully

Now select "Reboot now" and wait for a while until your device starts as usual as it was before. Enjoy!
